Mess-Free Baby Painting

Mess-Free Baby Painting! Your baby’s inner Picasso is just waiting to shine, but if you want the paint on paper and not in baby’s mouth, I have an activity for you!

This sensory bag is versatile, you can use it for tummy time once baby is reaching and grabbing, or for a standing or sitting babe. All you need is a gallon bag, card stock (thick paper like watercolor paper or you can use cardboard- I used regular paper and it fell apart ), tape, and paint (finger paint, poster paint, or similar).

Cut a piece of card stock down to fit in the gallon bag, place it inside and squirt a few dollops of paint on top of the paper. You only need about 4 tbsp max of paint, too much makes the paper soggier. Close the bag up and tape the top of the bag.

Tape the bag down to the floor or onto a window or the wall. Let baby squish away! When done carefully open the bag and remove the paper and leave the painting out to dry.

If you just want baby to play with paint you can omit the paper and add a little more paint!
Thanks @acraftyliving for the card stock tip!
