Paint & Oil Sensory Bag
Paint and oil sensory bag! Make floating paint for baby to play with for tummy time or sitting, it is so fun toddlers will be intrigued too!
All you need to do is squirt some water-based (washable) paint into a gallon bag, add about half a bottle of baby oil, and close the bag.
It is best to tape the bag closed and tape the bag to the floor. Make sure to supervise! The paint will eventually mix and become brown, but it will still float! If you don’t want brown paint try just using one or two colors.
I used Crayola Washable Fingerpaint and was able to strain the paint out from the oil using a fine mesh strainer so I could use the oil again!! Thanks @mothercould for the awesome idea! .
