About Me

I am Hannah, the part-time architect, part-time stay-at-home mom behind Baby Play Hacks. My husband and I have one daughter, Norah, who was born in October of 2018. I created Baby Play Hacks when I couldn’t find an account that had easy baby play ideas all in one place. I needed ideas that were engaging and taste-safe for my baby, and my search sparked this community founded on development, investigation, and most importantly, play.

Baby Play Hacks is a resource for moms and other caregivers with easy baby play ideas for little ones 0-18 months old, and beyond. Fun, engaging, and inexpensive, these activities use everyday objects to teach and entertain. Baby Play Hacks is a community founded on the importance of play—sensory play, fine and gross motor skills, and movement are all central. Sustainability is also a key component of most “hacks”, which use recycled objects or reusable materials.

My goal is to bring you useful content—trusted advice and great ideas for play, so your children can explore and learn in fun, atypical ways.
