Hide and Toy Seek 🧐 What is the average length of time your laundry goes unfolded? Mine is about 3-5 days! 🤣 Empty your laundry basket and fold some clothes while baby plays, using this hack! 👔 All you need is a laundry basket, colorful toys like ball pit balls, and scarves to obscure the toys (you can use sensory scarves, silk scarves, strips of fabric, or even ribbon). This activity is appropriate for babies and toddlers roughly 6 months and older (once baby can sit up independently). Tie the scarves through the basket holes, overlapping them. 🎀 If you are using ribbon, thread it through the holes back and forth, and tie off any ends. Leave a space on one end for baby to sit, and place toys in the basket under the scarves/ribbon. Place baby in the basket and let her explore and try to remove the toys from under the obstacles. 👌🏽 If you would like, place a container next to the laundry basket for baby to try to drop the toys into. Name the colors of the toys as baby finds them.

For toddlers, make this a game by asking your little to search for a certain color of balls or toys, and drop them out of the basket. Add in some fine motor play by letting your little try to thread the scarves through the holes themselves.
