Silicone Straw Pull
Silicone straw pull for baby! I bought some silicone reusable straws so we could stop using disposable plastic straws, and quickly realized that baby loooved them because they are soft and floppy and great for chewing! I made this container so she could practice some fine-motor skills by pulling them out!
Find a container like an oats container and cut holes in the top. I just went at it by stabbing with scissors! Keep the holes relatively small at first and try pushing the straws through, if they won’t go in make the holes slightly bigger.
Tape the lid on (I used duct tape) and push the straws through the holes. And there you have it! A fun activity for babies, our 9 month old liked sitting on the floor and trying to pull them out (and rolling the container). Babies who can sit and up will be able to try this activity, you can aid by holding the container for them while they pull.
