Animal Match

Animal Match 🐑🐑 This activity is fun for littles who can identify animals and those who can't! Gather up some animal toys--we used our @schleichofficial animals--and a book with the same animals. This is "Touch and Feel Farm", I love books with textures for baby to feel!

For younger babies, read the book and point out the animal figurines when you reach the matching animal. Let baby feel the figure and observe it.

For babies and toddlers who know some of their animals, lay out the book and corresponding figurines. Let baby try to match the animals to their figures, showing them how you place the horse with the picture of the horse, for example.

This is an easy way to practice matching without printing out or making matching cards!
