Puff Container Ball Drop

Puff Container Ball Drop! This fine motor activity is so simple but really entertaining for baby, and it is a great learning experience! If you have a baby in the 6 to 10 month range they are probably figuring out that objects don't disappear when you can't see them anymore, and as they learn object permanence, activities like this can be so fun and can push them along! Just gather a puff container (I like this brand because the opening is perfect for the balls we have) and some balls that fit into the opening. I used a set of ball pit balls, see the link in my bio for similar ones.

Now let baby push balls in and figure out where they went. Try showing baby how to push a ball in and wondering aloud where the ball went, engaging in activities with your baby will help lengthen his attention span! You can keep the fun going by showing baby how to drop other toys in as well. This task is great for learning coordination. Has your baby recently realized that objects don't vanish when he can't see them?
